Frequently Asked Questions

What is The 365 Collective?

The 365 Collective provides an opportunity to own a part of a large exotic and classic car collection. In return for a small financial investment per month, you will own 1/365th of the collection. The aim is to build one of Australia’s largest exotic and classic car collections, focusing on high-end modern and classic vehicles

How Does The 365 Collective Work?

The 365 Collective is an exclusive members club limited to 365 members only. Each member invests an equal amount of money into the club either on a monthly basis or 12-months in advance. The initial commitment for each member is 36 months (3 years) and in that time, the collection will include over $8m of vehicles. This takes into account costs for secure storage for the collection, maintenance and insurance.

The overall value will change as the exotic and classic car market changes over time. Whilst the general trend is towards an increase in value, it should be noted and understood that the value may also decrease. We will provide a monthly summary to all members valuing the collection to keep everyone appraised.

Do I Get to Drive the Cars in the Collection?

Yes and No. Some cars in the collection will not be available to drive because of their value or the economics of insurance and running costs. We do aim to maintain a small fleet of vehicles that members will have access to. In a similar manner to car-hire companies, we will ask for a deposit, a hire fee (to cover maintenance and insurance) and that you return the vehicle in the condition it was provided in. Our insurance only allows the member to drive the vehicle at all times. We will provide a calendar showing availability and an online booking system.

Vehicle hire will be available from the 2nd half of the first operational year of The 365 Collective.

What Vehicles Will Be In The Collection?

This is what makes The 365 Collective unique - you get to decide which vehicles get added to the collection. On average, we aim to acquire a minimum of 1 vehicle per month however some months multiple vehicles may be acquired and on occasion (where the members decide on a larger value vehicle for example) an acquisition may not happen in a single month.

The collection will contain modern and classic exotic vehicles from the most well-known and respected marques in the world. Examples of the types of marques we will look to acquire include Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and Aston Martin. The focus will be on acquiring the right vehicle, at the right price, at the right time to maximise the future value of the collection and of each member’s investment.

Where Will the Collection Be Located?

In the first 3 months of operation we will look to source a suitable location to hold the collection for the first 2 years of operation. We will look for the most secure location as a priority - location will be a second priority. Ideally, the collection will be located within 10 kms of Sydney’s central business district and relatively close to public transport.

Can I View the Collection?

Yes, absolutely the collection will be accessible to all members of The 365 Collective. Access will be by appointment only and limited to the member and a small number of guests. Pets will not be allowed into the viewing area and children must be kept under strict control. Members will be liable for any damage caused themselves or by their family and guests.

This Sounds Too Good To Be True! Is This A Scam?

No

The 365 Collective will be run as a business, registered with ASIC and operated under strict accounting practices. We will publish quarterly and annual reports to all members - each of whom will own a single share in the company. Running costs will be kept to a minimum - mainly spend will be on the location to host the collection, security and insurance.

The 365 Collective will seek the appointment of 3 trustees to serve on an annual basis to ensure that the business runs appropriately. An independent accountant will run the finances for the company, produce quarterly and annual reports minimise tax liabilities.

If I Need To Exit Early, Can I?

We would rather see our members stay with The 365 Collective for each operational term (2 years). We do appreciate that financial and personal situations change and in the event that a member needs to exit early - we will refund their investment in-full plus an apportioned amount representing the increase of value in the collection at that point in time. We will look to bring in a new member to replace one that is departing and will engage the membership for any personal recommendations.

How Do I Sign Up?

At this stage we are seeking expressions of interest only. Please use the ‘Register Interest’ button at the top of the page to send us your details. We will be in touch with progress, once we have a full prospective members book we will ask for a holding-deposit from each of you.

Once your deposit is received you will receive a digital prospective members pack containing details about the club, a contract and a police-check authorisation form. For everyone’s security we will be screening every member prior to joining - part of your holding deposit will be used to cover the cost.

Once the membership has completed the screening process we will officially launch the club and as for your first month’s payment (or your annual in-advance payment).

Each member will be provided an email address for the club (member@365collective.club) and secure access to our member portal. Acquisition voting, membership forms, copies of contracts, pictures of the collection, vehicle availability and booking-forms will all be accessible from the members area of the website.

How Much Will This Cost Me?

We are expecting the deposit amount to be AU$150.00 and each months investment to be between AU$1000.00 and AU$1250.00.

Total investment will be between AU$24,000.00 and AU$30,000.00 for each investment period (2 years commitment)
